Course EN 130 and EN 131 are designed to be taken consecutively. They are part of the core curriculum and are recommended to all entering students as a fundamental means to achieving effective writing. The course series is designed to help students gain control over their thinking and writing skills. EN 131 assumes students understand and will write in grammatically correct ways. The intent is that students will learn to write appropriately for given audiences. This includes college level research--an introduction to information literacy and research methods which will guide the student through the complexities of organizing and drafting a research paper so as to become an information-literate student.
This Moodle course is set-up to be used for the seven weeks from 2/11 to 3/29 while students will be working on their research papers.
